Accounts Receivable Accountant | Reef GroupPosition Title: Accounts Receivable AccountantJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleReef Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage and monitor all financial collections from customers and branches. This role ensures accurate recording of daily collections, reconciliations, and reporting of accounts receivable, supporting cash flow and improving the management of receivable accounts within the company.The Accounts Receivable Accountant will work closely with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure revenue recognition aligns with approved financial policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Collections & RecordingReceive and record all daily collections from customers and branches in the financial system accurately and on time.Review cash, electronic, and bank transfer collections to ensure correct accounting entries.Monitor customer balances and ensure alignment with issued invoices, contracts, and financial policies.Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts, identify discrepancies, analyze causes, and resolve them.Prepare periodic accounts receivable reports, analyze aging of debts, and present findings to the direct manager.Coordination & DocumentationCoordinate with branches, operations, and sales departments to resolve any collection or billing discrepancies.Prepare daily accounting entries for collections, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documents.Support month-end closing by preparing collection schedules and reconciliation reports.Track bank deposit notifications and match them with recorded collections.Contribute to improving collection procedures and documenting processes to enhance the quality of financial data.Compliance & SupportAdhere fully to financial policies and internal controls related to accounts receivable.Support the manager in preparing analytical reports on cash collections and cash flow.Perform any other accounting tasks related to accounts receivable as assigned by the direct manager.Additional ResponsibilitiesAny other duties assigned by the direct manager or their delegate.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial operations.Why join Reef Group?We are a dynamic and growing company in the retail sector, offering opportunities to develop your accounting and finance career.
