We provide easy, reliable, and fast company formation services through our network of Professional Partners and Government Authorities.Job DescriptionJob overview:As a Team Leader for the Shared Service Centre (SSC), the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting of IFZA customers, managing a team of professionals, whilst complying with the organization’s policies and procedures and ensuring the necessary checks and balances are performed, in order to deliver an effective and efficient end to end service for customers.Main responsibilities:Leading in implementing the SSC strategy within the organization including ongoing set up, running and growth of the divisionManaging relationships and providing daily partnering support to customers on their financial packagesDeveloping and implementing procedure documentation in line with the internal controls and promoting operational efficiencyActively adding value by mentoring and developing the team while ensuring full compliance with all policies according to the companyCompleting final reviews on all reporting information being submitted to customers and ensuring compliance with audit level standardsEnsuring adherence to all IFRS standards and correct application by the teamActing as a competent contact person for various inquiries relating to your area of responsibility and advising your team on the fundamentals of accountingProactively identifying service delivery issues and taking appropriate actionIdentifying and supporting standardization and continuous improvement initiatives within the SSCMonitoring the ongoing automated activities and ensuring continuity of daily tasksOverseeing the final preparation of financial statements for customers monthlyGiving regular updates and performing analysis on the running of the SSC to senior managementManaging numerous projects/testing as and when required by the SSCAssisting in and/or carrying out ad hoc tasks to fully support the business visionRequirementsDegree in Accounting or FinanceProfessional accounting qualification (from a recognized accounting body such as ACCA, CA, CMA etc)Minimum 3-5 years’ accounting experienceShould have good exposure to IFRSFull English proficiency is requiredAdditional spoken languages are a plusHighly competent in the fundamentals of accounting (IFRS knowledge is preferred)Strong analytical skills as well as process orientedPrior working knowledge in ERP systems is beneficialProficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power Point etcInternational team (over 60 nationalities)24 working days as annual leaveBirthday leaveAnnual flight homeLife insurance planMedical insurance plan (with the option to upgrade at your own cost)#J-18808-Ljbffr
