Job Description
Job Description As a member of Suntory Global Spirits, you will play a crucial role in driving value across key priorities such as American whiskey, Japanese Spirits, Scotch, Tequila, and Ready-to-Drink. Your mission is to deliver NSV, gross profit, volume, and market share by strategically managing the product mix and investments in both Off and On-premises channels. Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping track of supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities in your state/s.
- Consolidating and building the sales planning for the state/s and achieving annual objectives within budgeted costs.
- Engaging with top customers to align on joint commercial objectives and elevate Suntory as the preferred partner.
- Developing behavioral and performance standards for the team to foster a positive working environment.
- Driving sales development initiatives such as visibility programs, distribution expansion, and efficiency building programs.
- Customizing channel strategy with commercial marketing and coordinating trade/marketing activity calendar.
- Ensuring adherence to customer service norms, code of conduct, and local laws for business objectives.
- Coordinating with internal and external customers for timely renewals of labels/licenses and brand registrations.
- Driving sales automation programs and data analysis using the latest IT tools.
To qualify for this role, you should:
- Be a Graduate with an MBA/PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Management.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable FMCG/Alcobev organization, with experience in handling both Off/Retail & On-Premises/HORECA channels preferred.
- Possess strong soft skills including leadership, communication, strategic thinking, data analytics, problem resolution, conflict management, and stakeholder management.
