Wiring Harness Engineer

Job Description As a Wiring Harness Design Engineer at Tata Elxsi Pune, you will be responsible for: - Having in-depth knowledge of the Wiring harness design & development process. - Hands-on experience in creating physical schematic & 2D wiring harness drawing using the Capital tool suite (Integrator, Logic, harnessXC) is a must. - Experience in circuit simulation using Capital Analysis. - Understanding of Wiring harness component selection like Fuse, Wire, Connector, Insulation etc. - Experience in defining wiring harness electrical protection strategies like Relay, Diode, etc. - Understanding in finalization of Harness topology. - Knowledge of design processes like DFMEA, DFM, DFS. - Hands-on experience in handling harness builds issues & troubleshooting in the vehicle line. - Understanding of various standards like JASO, DIN, JIS, etc. If you have knowledge of Electrical routing & packaging in Catia, it will be considered an added advantage.
