Madre Integrated Engineering Full time Industry: Polymer / PP Woven Bags & FIBC Manufacturing Location: Qatar Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Winderman is responsible for handling, rolling, and preparing polypropylene (PP) woven fabric, FIBC panels, and tapes for storage, transport, or further processing. The role ensures that materials are correctly wound and maintained to prevent damage, maintain quality, and support continuous production flow. Key Responsibilities: Operate winding machines or manually wind PP woven fabrics, tapes, and FIBC panels according to production requirements. Ensure proper alignment, tension, and uniformity while winding to prevent wrinkles, damage, or deformation. Inspect rolls for defects, inconsistencies, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor. Prepare finished rolls for storage, transport, or further processing as required. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet daily production targets. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the winding area. Follow all safety protocols and company HSE guidelines while handling heavy rolls and machinery. Assist in minor maintenance of winding machines to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Winderman, Roll Handler, or similar role in PP woven bag or FIBC manufacturing. Familiarity with winding machines and rolling techniques for woven fabrics and industrial materials. Ability to identify defects in fabric or tapes and ensure quality standards are met. Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy rolls safely. Attention to detail, consistency, and ability to work in a fast paced production environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in FIBC or PP woven fabric production lines. Knowledge of quality control standards for wound rolls. Awareness of safety procedures and industrial handling techniques. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle heavy rolls of PP woven fabric or FIBC panels. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Competitive salary based on experience.
