OverviewJob Title: Welding LeadmanLocation: DubaiExperience: 3 YearsSalary: Depends Upon ExperienceMain ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of welders in the of welding tasks and projects.Ensure that all welding operations are performed in accordance with company standards client specifications and safety regulations.Oversee the preparation fitting and welding of materials ensuring highquality work.Provide onsite guidance and training to junior welders ensuring their skills meet required standards.Review welding blueprints drawings and other project specifications to ensure accurate and efficient work.Monitor work progress and adjust schedules and workloads as necessary to meet project deadlines.Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS).Report any issues related to welding including material defects safety concerns and quality problems.Coordinate with engineers project managers and other departments to ensure welding tasks are completed on time and within budget.Maintain welding equipment and tools ensuring they are in good working condition.Essential QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent; certification in welding or related technical field is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding with at least 12 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Certification in welding (e.g. AWS CWI CSWIP) is preferred.Indepth knowledge of various welding techniques materials and welding codes.Experience working in industries such as oil & gas construction or manufacturing.Skills RequiredStrong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of welders.Expertise in welding techniques including MIG TIG Stick and others.Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS API).Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail to ensure the quality and safety of welding operations.Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings.Strong organizational skills to manage work schedules and material requirements.Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
