OverviewWelder job vacancy in Zayed City UAE. responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams to determine the specific welding requirementsSet up and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in accordance with appropriate safety proceduresLay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels etc.Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods and fluxes according to the specificationsInspect grooves, angles and gap allowances with micrometers, calipers and rulers in order to meet the required specificationsMonitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid problems such as overheating of parts or warping, shrinking or expansion of materialRepair machinery parts according to drawings without affecting their original strengthMaintain accurate records of all welding jobs completedQualificationsProven work experience as a WelderAbility to identify different materials (steel/aluminum etc.) used in production processesKnowledge of welding techniques (TIG/MIG/arc) as well as cutting methods such as plasma cutting or oxyfuel cuttingFamiliarity with engineering blueprints and schematicsAbility to lift over 50 lbs. on a regular basisBenefitsThis position provides a competitive salary of 1500 AED per month along with job security.
