The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment according to specifications.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret technical drawings and sketchesPrepare materials for welding by grinding, cutting, and measuringSet up welding machines according to specificationsOperate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segmentsEnsure welds meet specified strength requirementsInspect completed welds and perform quality checksMaintain all tools, machines, and equipment in good working orderQualificationsApplicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification as well as at least 5 years of experience in welding.
