Job Description - Warehouse Keeper (WAR000135)Warehouse KeeperJob Number: WAR000135DescriptionOrder, receive and check the shipments of goods and materials from local suppliers and inspect goods/materials received for defects or damages ensuring delivery of requested quantity, report any discrepancy/damage or short receipt to the Warehouse Manager/SupervisorSpecific for Multimedia: Inspect goods received looking for defects or damages ensuring delivery of requested quantity and reporting any discrepancy to the Warehouse Manager/SupervisorEnsure that goods/materials are properly stored in the warehouse in compliance with stock management standards and/or any updated rules set by the Warehouse ManagerSpecific for Multimedia: Locate and issue stored items upon receipt of requisition to guarantee that the correct items are promptly supplied to meet operational needsPerform regular stock check-up under the direction of the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor in order to ensure that inventory records match physical items stored in the warehouse/storage yardsPerform routine inspection, cleaning and minor maintenance of lifting and stacking equipment to minimize any unplanned operational interruptions and maintain a safe working environment at all timesEnsure all operating, safety, environment and quality procedures are followed in order to ensure the highest standards of warehousing operations are achievedQualificationsHigh School graduate1-2 years of related work experienceProficiency in Ms OfficeCommercial Understanding: level 1Communication Skills: level 2Customer Focus: level 1Driving and Achieving results: level 1Initiative: level 1Teamwork: level 2Primary Location#J-18808-Ljbffr
