Warehouse Assistant

Job PurposeTo support the Warehouse Supervisor / Storekeeper in daily operations by providing all necessary support for proper storage and retrieval of goods to ensure timely delivery.Job RequirementsEducation / Certification and Continued EducationHigh School / 12th Grade passYears of Experience1 to 2 years of experience in warehousingEssential Roles and ResponsibilitiesFunctional Roles and ResponsibilitiesSupport the supervisor in stock takes and cycle counts to maintain overall stock control.Perform all other warehouse operational tasks as assigned by the Storekeeper / Supervisor.Offload shipments, physically check and report any discrepancies; store items appropriately according to reference numbers, brand names, etc.Carry out pre-retailing activities such as pricing, tagging, and barcoding as per brand guidelines.Pick and pack stock based on pick lists or handheld scanners for dispatch to customers and retail outlets.Maintain HSE practices to minimize damage to property and injury to self and colleagues; proactively remind colleagues to follow HSE processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
