The venue represents Chef Daniel Bouluds casual approach to fine dining.The PositionTo provide prompt and courteous F&B service to the Hotels guests.KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESRead daily events to acknowledge any VIPs arrivals.Must know all menu items their garnishes contents and preparation methods and be able to relay that information to guests in a polite and concise way if askedPresent childrens menus when appropriate and describe specials and alternative cuisineServe and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional mannerUtilize the POS system to ring up sales print checks close checks and complete cashout proceduresCarry trays bus and reset tables with linen china glass and silverAscertain guests satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolvedFollow cash and credit card procedures according to the guidelines of the accounting departmentMaintain a clean neat and orderly restaurant throughout servicePolish silver refill salt pepper and sugar creamers etcEnsure that work station is stocked with appropriate condiments at all timesReport any guest comments regarding food and beverage to managerConscientious handling and maintenance of operating equipmentLearn and adhere to safety sanitation and hygiene policiesMaintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departmentsMaintain complete knowledge of all F&B services outlets and hotel services/featuresPerform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standardsReport to manager any kinds of deviation from set standard and proceduresEnsure that all service and storage areas are kept safe and cleanHelp minimize waste neglect breakages and mishandling of supplies and equipmentCarry out light cleaning and maintenance of the outletAssist other Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations during peak hours if neededPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESAverage reading writing and oral proficiency in the English languageMust be well presented and professionally groomed at all timesAble to account and handle cash effectively and efficientlyGood communication and customer contact skills; good problem resolution skillsBasic F&B product knowledgeTeam player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detailQualifications : QUALIFICATIONSSecondary educationEXPERIENCEMinimum 1year food and beverage serving experiencePrevious public contact and/or cashiering experienceRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Fulltime Key Skills Correspondent,Bidding,Accounting & Finance,Leasing,Imaging,Linux Administration Experience: years Vacancy: 1
