Lean Technologies is the leading financial infrastructure provider in the Middle East. We power some of the region’s largest companies with APIs that enable payments, account verification, financial data access, and other critical financial infrastructure.We started as an open banking aggregator and quickly became the de facto leader in account aggregation and payment initiation in the region. As the ecosystem evolved, Lean expanded into a broader financial infrastructure platform. Today, we power millions of transactions and verifications every month and work with leading enterprises such as Careem, Binance, Majid Al Futtaim, Bupa, and many others across multiple industries.Because financial infrastructure in the region is still developing, Lean has built a deep suite of products across multiple markets and regulatory frameworks. Our platform spans several jurisdictions, regulators, and product lines, making the overall narrative powerful but also complex.As Lean enters its next phase of growth, we are looking for a senior marketing leader who can help define and communicate our story to customers, partners, investors, and the broader ecosystem.This role will combine Product Marketing leadership with broader Marketing ownership, turning marketing into a true growth engine for the company.The roleWe’re hiring a VP of Marketing to lead product marketing, positioning, and demand generation across a complex, multi-product, multi-market financial infrastructure platform. You'll own Lean's narrative architecture - how we communicate to enterprises, investors, partners, and the broader ecosystem.You'll build marketing into a growth engine. You'll lead and scale the function, working closely with our product, commercial, and leadership teams to define strategy and drive outcomes.You’ve done this before at companies selling complex infrastructure to enterprises, and you recognize that Lean is at an inflection point where marketing matters.What you’ll doDefine Lean’s overall messaging, positioning, and narrative across products and marketsTranslate complex financial infrastructure products into simple, compelling storiesDevelop clear product narratives for customers, investors, and internal teamsLead product launches and go-to-market strategies across multiple marketsWork closely with product teams to deeply understand product capabilities and roadmapMarketing & GrowthBuild marketing into a scalable growth engine for LeanLead demand generation and inbound pipeline developmentOversee content, brand, events, and growth marketingEnsure consistent messaging across all channels and regionsSupport sales teams with strong storytelling and positioningLead and scale Lean’s marketing organization, including product marketing, content, growth, and eventsManage and mentor an existing team of ~7–8 peopleWork closely with design, product, and commercial teams to ensure strong cross-functional alignmentStrategic NarrativeHelp articulate Lean’s evolution from open banking leader to full financial infrastructure platformDevelop a narrative that reflects our multi-product platform and regulatory leadership across the regionEnsure the company communicates effectively despite regulatory constraints and multi-market complexityWhat we’re looking forDeep Product Marketing ExpertiseExtensive experience in product marketing and B2B marketing leadership rolesStrong background in API-driven, developer-first, or infrastructure businessesExperience working with complex multi-product platformsTechnical DepthAbility to deeply understand technical products and infrastructure APIsComfortable engaging with product, engineering, and enterprise technical stakeholdersAble to simplify complexity without losing accuracyExceptional storytelling and positioning skillsAbility to define clear differentiation in competitive marketsExperience building company narratives that resonate with customers and investorsLeadership ExperienceExperience leading and scaling marketing teamsComfortable managing cross-functional initiatives across product, sales, and leadershipExperience selling to large enterprisesStrong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and revenue motionsRegional and Regulatory ComplexityExperience operating in highly regulated industries is a strong plusAbility to navigate multi-market environments and regulatory constraints#J-18808-Ljbffr
