Job Description

JOB PURPOSEResponsible for the development, maintenance & implementation of the risk management framework within Aldar in line with the strategic plans.Responsible for the development, maintenance & implementation of the Business Continuity Management System frameworks within Aldar.Responsible for the development, maintenance & implementation of the Crises Management framework within Aldar.Responsible for developing, rolling out, and testing the Group’s Business Continuity Plan’sROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain detailed risk management and business continuity policies and processes and collaborate with key business stakeholders to facilitate their embedding across core processes and individual roles within Aldar.Lead the design, documentation, communication, and implementation of Aldar’s Risk Management and Business Continuity frameworksUndertake an annual review of the risk management policy in preparation for sign off, communicating amendments to business areas as requiredReview, assess, and report significant risks and issues identifiedWork with respective departments in implementing required mitigationsPrepare and collate strategic risks on quarterly basis for management quarterly reporting packs including monitoring of mitigation plansScope, plan, and consolidate an annual Business Continuity Plan testing within AldarAssist key business stakeholders in identifying and responding effectively to risks arising from internal changes or external eventsCarry adhoc assigned tasksRELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCEMin of 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management functions for large organizations ideally within the real estate industry.YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITIONMin of 2+ years in a managerial position leading a corporate risk function.SECTOR EXPERIENCERetail estate sector, construction, financial services, or consulting.TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLSExcellent knowledge of industry best risk management practice including regulatory requirementsExperience in developing and implementing risk management/business continuity policies and processes.Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective risk managementExcellent communication, relationship management and influencing skillsAbility to build and maintain effective internal and external relationshipsAbility to analyze, present and report risk management data to senior stakeholdersAbility to provide and respond to challenge at senior/executive levelQUALIFICATIONBachelor degree in Finance or Engineering.Certification in Enterprise Risk MGT & Business Continuity MGT SystemUnderstanding of NCEMA regulations#J-18808-Ljbffr
