Vice President, Equity Capital Markets, MENA Coverage, Riyadh

Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) to join its Investment Banking team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in originating and executing equity capital markets transactions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The role requires strong transaction execution capabilities across IPOs, follow-on offerings, rights issues, block trades, and private placements, as well as the ability to support senior bankers in client coverage and deal origination. Candidates should have prior ECM experience covering MENA markets, though they do not need to be currently based in RiyadhRESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage the execution of equity capital markets transactions across the MENA region, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, rights issues, block trades, and private placementsCoordinate closely with internal teams including investment banking coverage, syndicate, research, legal, and compliance to ensure smooth transaction executionOversee the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, prospectuses, and other transaction documentationManage transaction timelines and due diligence processes from mandate through to pricing and closingSupport senior bankers in originating ECM opportunities and preparing client pitches and strategic advisory materialsMaintain relationships with corporate clients, financial sponsors, and government-related entities across the regionMonitor equity capital markets activity across MENA, providing insights on market conditions, investor sentiment, and valuation trendsSupervise and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality analytical work and presentation materialsREQUIREMENTS6–10 years of experience in Equity Capital Markets or Investment BankingDemonstrated experience executing equity transactions across MENA marketsExperience at a leading international or regional investment bankStrong understanding of IPO processes, equity issuance, valuation, and capital markets structuringStrong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deal-driven environmentStrong interpersonal and client communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related fieldAdvanced qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are advantageous#J-18808-Ljbffr
