Job Title-Acquiring & Payments Product ManagerTerm-12 monthsLocation-Riyadh, KSADivision-Banking & TechnologyReports to-Head of Acquiring and PaymentsRelevant experience-5-8 years experience in merchant acquiring and payments industry with 2-3 years in managerial roleMandatory requirementsExperience in merchant acquiring and payments businessProven Product management experienceStrategic acumen and growth mindsetFluency in English and ArabicPURPOSE OF JOBDrive strategic growth and operational excellence in merchant acquiring and payments business through product management expertise, strategic thinking, stakeholder alignment, and market expansion initiatives to achieve next level scale in customer acquisition and transaction volumes. The candidate is responsible for leading critical portfolio and strategic initiatives that drive commercial standardization, product growth, and operational excellence across segments. The role owns high-priority initiatives end-to-end, supports product commercialization and go-to-market execution, and acts as a key interface between internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership while ensuring compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements.TASKS: Core Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesConduct comprehensive assessment of current Merchant Acquiring and Payment product portfolio and competitive positioningDevelop strategic roadmap for product enhancements, new service offerings, and market expansionImplement comprehensive strategies to scale merchant customer base and transaction volumesDevelop and execute targeted customer acquisition strategies across various merchant segments (SME, Enterprise, E-commerce)Create and manage strategic partnership programs, payment facilitators, and technology providersLead market intelligence initiatives to identify emerging opportunities and competitive threatsDefine product requirements and specifications aligned with aggressive growth objectivesEstablish comprehensive product performance metrics and KPI frameworksSupport the strategic planning initiatives including business case development and ROI analysisDesign and execute market entry strategies for new customer segments and geographical regionsLead and execute critical portfolio and special initiatives, developing action plans to drive commercial standardization across segments.Demonstrate strong commercial acumen in evaluating opportunities, prioritizing initiatives, and driving measurable business outcomes.Own and drive key product initiatives, including product enhancements and new product rollouts.Responsible for product implementation and go-to-market strategy, working closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, and other stakeholders.Define business, functional, technical, and commercial requirements and develop business cases for commercial sign-off and prioritization.Proactively assess new product and VAS partners, coordinating approvals with key internal stakeholders.Act as product owner for assigned initiatives/products, including pre-sales product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.Support front-end campaigns and participate in client and internal meetings as a pre-sales consultant when required.Prepare sales toolkits, customized commercial offers, proposals, and client correspondence to support business development.Update and draft product manuals, policies, and departmental governance documentation in line with audit checklists and internal controls.Act as a key point of contact between the client and product/technology partners to resolve operational and service-related issues.Monitor partner and supplier performance and manage ongoing external relationships.Ensure full compliance with legal, credit, regulatory, and internal governance requirements, including KSA banking regulations.Provide monthly analytics, MI, and intelligence reports to Product and senior management teams.Maintain regular interaction across internal departments to support business delivery and operational strategies.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across initiatives.Knowledge and ExperienceMinimum Bachelors degree from a reputable institution; Postgraduate degree preferred.5+ years of experience in the corporate sector, preferably in Payments, Remittances, Banking, or Fintech.Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal).Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience using MI, analytics, and reporting tools.Familiarity with the KSA regulatory framework for banks and financial institutions.Proven experience in product commercialization within the payments ecosystem (e.g., wallets, virtual accounts, acquiring products).Strong technical knowledge, including experience working with integration APIs, IT, and operations teams.Experience managing external suppliers and partners and working within a matrix organization across geographies.Experience working in SCRUM / Agile environments; familiarit
