Job Description

The Vice President – Corporate Alliance is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and driving high-impact partnerships that support the growth, innovation, and operational excellence of King Salman International Airport (KSIA). The role focuses on building and managing alliances across key sectors such as aviation, real estate, tourism, technology, and logistics, ensuring alignment with KSIA’s vision.The VP will cultivate strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders, identify strategic opportunities, and maximize the value of partnerships to enhance passenger and cargo experience, strengthen competitive positioning, and support sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy and ObjectivesStrategic roadmap development: Contribute to the development of the Corporate Alliance strategic plan in line with KSIA’s overall strategy.Strategic direction leadership: Lead the development of the Corporate Alliance roadmap, ensuring alignment with KSIA’s long-term vision and priorities.Strategic partnerships: Identify and pursue opportunities for alliances that support KSIA's growth and diversification initiatives.Alliance expansion: Lead efforts to expand strategic partnerships that align with KSIA’s business model and long‑term strategy.Business plan alignment: Develop the Corporate Alliance Department’s business plan in accordance with strategic directions and organizational goals.Business plan execution: Ensure the strategic business plan is executed effectively, meeting both long‑term and short‑term goals.Strategic planning oversight: Spearhead the alignment of departmental goals with the broader KSIA strategy, ensuring cohesive execution across all alliances.Performance monitoring: Establish performance objectives and indicators for the Corporate Alliance Department and continuously monitor progress toward these goals.Strategic adjustments: Continuously assess the need for realignment of alliances to respond to shifting market conditions or organizational priorities.Strategic flexibility: Ensure alliances remain flexible and adaptable to meet KSIA’s evolving operational needs and objectives.KPI leadership: Establish, monitor, and refine key performance indicators to track the performance and impact of alliance activities on KSIA’s strategic goals.Framework development: Ensure the proper development of methodologies, techniques, and principles within the Corporate Alliance Department.Methodology optimization: Ensure the creation and refinement of methodologies, ensuring that best practices are applied across all alliance activities.Strategic review: Lead regular reviews of the Corporate Alliance strategy to adjust for emerging trends and ensure proactive alignment with KSIA objectives.Initiative prioritization: Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that will drive maximum impact through alliances, while optimizing resource allocation.Stakeholder alignment and engagement: Ensure that corporate alliances are aligned with internal and external stakeholder expectations and objectives. Foster engagement with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and support.Organization, Resources, and MonitoringCommunication: Ensure that the Corporate Alliance Department’s strategic plan is effectively communicated and understood at all levels of the organization.Strategic communication: Establish robust communication channels to disseminate alliance‑related information across the organization.Resource optimization and allocation: Optimize departmental resources to enhance operational efficiency and drive performance improvement. Oversee optimal allocation of resources to maximize departmental output and performance.Budget development: Lead the development and management of the department's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational needs.Financial oversight: Monitor financial performance and ensure budget alignment with strategic goals, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.Process development: Ensure the development of processes that support efficient management and execution of alliances.Process refinement: Continuously improve processes to streamline operations and enhance alliance effectiveness.Control systems: Implement advanced control mechanisms to ensure the effective tracking and monitoring of alliance‑related activities.Monitoring mechanisms: Lead the development of systems that provide real‑time tracking of alliance performance and outcomes.Decision making: Exercise decision‑making authority on business matters and escalate strategic decisions as needed to senior leadership.Decision support: Provide strategic insights and recommendations for executive decisions on key alliance‑related matters.Strategic resources planning and forecasting: Ensure resource planning aligns with the long‑term goals of the Corporate Alliance function.
