Vice President – Construction & Infrastructure Practice IMEAKey ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, trusted relationships with construction clients, including contractors, developers, and project owners.Understand the client’s construction projects, risk exposures, and insurance needs.Act as a strategic advisor on insurance products relevant to construction.Construction‑Specific Risk Assessment & SolutionsCollaborate with underwriting and risk engineering teams to assess construction project risks.Recommend appropriate insurance coverage and risk mitigation strategies tailored to the construction lifecycle.Stay informed on construction industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions, environmental risks).Review, interpret and advise clients on insurance and risk provisions within project agreements.Business DevelopmentIdentify opportunities to expand insurance coverage and services within existing construction accounts.Develop customized insurance proposals that address complex construction risks.Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and insurers to optimize coverage and pricing.Project and Service OversightCoordinate with claims, underwriting, and risk management teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and claims handling.Proactively manage client concerns related to claims, policy renewals, and coverage gaps.Facilitate communication between clients and insurers to resolve issues quickly and maintain client satisfaction.Ideal Skills and QualitiesDeep knowledge of construction industry operations, contracts, and risk exposures.Expertise in construction insurance products and underwriting criteria.Strong relationship‑building and client advisory skills.Ability to analyze complex construction risks and develop tailored insurance solutions.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proactive problem‑solving and claims advocacy.Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in construction insurance.Marsh is committed to embracing a diverse, inclusive and flexible work environment.
