Veterinary DoctorAbu DhabiThis role provides a relocation package for candidates based in South Africa and Europe.The Veterinary Doctor will play a key role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of dairy cattle on largescale farms. The Veterinary Doctor will diagnose and treat illnesses, oversee preventative health programs and manage reproductive health.Key areasCollaborate with nutritionists to optimize feeding programsMaintain accurate medical records for animalsEducate farm staff on best practices in animal handling, health monitoring and hygieneEnsure all practices comply with local veterinary regulations and farm policiesPerform surgical procedures as neededAnimal Health CareDiagnose and treat illnesses, injuries and other health conditions in dairy cattle.Perform regular health checks and clinical assessments.Administer vaccinations, medications and other treatments as required.Preventative CareDevelop and implement herd health programs to prevent diseases and infections.Monitor and manage biosecurity protocols to maintain a disease‑free environment.Conduct routine deworming, hoof care and other preventative measures.Reproductive ManagementOversee artificial insemination (AI) and natural breeding programs.Diagnose and manage reproductive disorders.Monitor and assist with calving processes and neonatal care.Qualifications and Experience requiredBachelors Degree in veterinary5 years experience, with 2 years experience in a GCC country#J-18808-Ljbffr
