Job Description

Job Title: Vendor Management SpecialistJob Purpose SummaryResponsible to identify and implement initiatives for optimization and drive operational efficiencies through development and continual improvement of relevant contracts, service renewals, processes, systems and people capabilities in line with the divisional and business objectives for current and future needs of AJMNKey Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesManage day to day operation with VendorsEnhance external vendor relations.Perform as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees.Ensure enterprise‑wide needs for risk assessment and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished.Help and coordinate vendor processes and methods to approve vendors.Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance.Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required.Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.Identify and implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management plus produce fulfillment.Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applying vendors.Any other duties or projects assigned by the head of sectionOther ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties relevant to the job as requested by head of Section and Department Manager.Job Requirements / QualificationsEducationBachelor degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience in a business technology managementSkillsMultitasking skillsNegotiation skillsMath and decision‑making skillsComputer skillsLanguagesInterpersonal skillsCommunicationAttention to detailsTechnical SkillsKnowledgeKnowledge of Vendor Management StrategyKnowledge of Evaluation Tools, this is including offers and contracts assessment and selection of suppliersVendor Management Success toolsProcurement life cycle and its relationship to vendor managementThe pillars of vendor management successImportance of carefully exchanging commitmentsElements of contracts, statements of work (SOWs), and service level agreements (SLAs)Negotiating techniques that support productive working relationshipsRole and function of performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and vendor performance scorecardAbilitiesAble to work under pressureAble to solve problems quicklyTo provide creative solutions for issuesMeeting deadlinesTo coordinate across various departments in order to provide consistency of outputTo remain calm under pressure and deal with competing demandsSkills: vendor management, sows, slas, vendor relations, stakeholders, risk assessment#J-18808-Ljbffr
