Job DescriptionAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island: On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Usher to join the resort’s Theatre Operations team.ResponsibilitiesGreet audience members warmly and assist with queries.Provide directions to seats, facilities, and concessions.Deliver exceptional service to patrons, including VIP and access customers.Check tickets (physical and digital) efficiently and courteously.Direct latecomers to designated entry points at appropriate intervals.Monitor audience behaviour and report disruptions to supervisors/management/security.Support the safe evacuation of the theatre in case of an emergency.Enforce house policies regarding photography, mobile use, and conduct.Assist patrons with mobility, hearing, or other access needs.Distribute and collect hearing devices or other support materials.At such times you will be asked to be an ‘Access Host’ which means you will be solely responsible for the service and care of our access patrons and their potential service animalsEnsure the auditorium, foyer, and restrooms remain clean and tidy before, during, and after performances.Distribute and collect programmes or promotional material.Participate in pre-show briefings and debriefs.Work closely with other Front of House staff, box office, and security personnel.About You2 years in a Theatre Usher or Hospitality service industry is preferredFamiliarity with West End / Broadway or Theatre venues or performance schedulesBasic first aid training (optional, can be provided)Must be able to manage staff and perform under pressure.Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanourStrong verbal communication skillsCalm under pressure with quick problem-solving abilityAttention to detail and pride in venue presentationA team player with a flexible attitudeAbout Wynn Al Marjan Island’s BenefitsWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
