Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented UAE National Urban Designerto join our team under the general direction of a licensed Architect. The ideal candidate will perform moderately complex architectural or interior design assignments, requiring a solid understanding of design standards, practices, and techniques. This position involves compiling data, specifications, and sketches, and formalizing them into working drawings and models. The role offers opportunities to develop proficiency in architectural and interior design standards, practices, and company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards based on general design information and client requirements.Ensure compliance with codes and standards using technical manuals.Perform dimensional and routine calculations for design layouts and drawings.Produce red-lined drawings and specifications.Research and develop design and product solutions, presenting them for consideration.Inspect architectural or interior design features on project sites and document conditions.Collaborate with project team members to set goals and meet deadlines.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior DesignWorking knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques.Proficiency in sketching, rendering, model-building, and presentation drawing.Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages commonly used in architectural and interior design.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
