We provide a comprehensive range of prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and personalised healthcare services designed to enhance patient care. We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai and help maintain our financial records for our UK (primary), NL, US and Dubai offices with accuracy and integrity.Role OverviewAs an accountant at Medetone, you will play a key role in managing the company's financial transactions, preparing monthly financial management reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and is eager to contribute to the financial health of a growing healthcare organisation.For this position we would need the ideal candidate to be able to start immediately.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactionsPrepare and analyse monthly financial management reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reportsPerform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptlyPrepare budgets and forecasting to support financial planningEnsure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standardsSupport month‑end and year‑end closing procedures & quarterly VAT returnsMonitor and record employee expenses and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresAssist in the payroll process by preparing payroll data and ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursementsAssist with external audits and provide necessary documentation as requiredRequirementsACCA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)MUST have experience preparing and filing UK & UAE accounts and corporation tax returnsProven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable managementExcellent analytical and problem‑solving skillsStrong attention to detailGood understanding of UK and UAE accounting standards and tax regulationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamProficient in Xero accounting software and Google Drive Suite (especially Excel).
