UI / UX & Visual Designer

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented designer who can lead the visual and user experience design of our premium software interfaces and also craft custom visual assets to match the luxury standards of our brand. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in UI/UX design as well as graphic design, with a sharp eye for aesthetics, usability, and brand consistency.UI/UX Design for Multi-Platform Applications:Design clean, modern, and highly intuitive user interfaces for:Mobile applications (iOS & Android)Desktop-based control applications for large touchscreen displaysEmbedded touchscreen interfaces on smaller screensEnsure consistent and responsive design across devices, resolutions, and touch environmentsBranding and Visual Identity:Create and evolve a premium visual identity that reflects innovation, sophistication, and modern yacht experiencesDesign company logos, sub-brand logos (if needed), and define color palettes, typography, and visual toneIcon and Asset Design:Design high-quality, original icons and button graphics for use across applicationsCreate a scalable and cohesive icon set that visually communicates system functionalityPrototyping and Wireframing:Develop user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intentCreate interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similarDesign System Development:Build and maintain a component-based design system with reusable elements to ensure design consistency and faster iteration across platformsCollaboration with Developers:Work closely with software engineers and embedded developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designsProvide production-ready assets and clear interaction specs for all UI elementsReal-World Usability and Testing:Design for practical, real-world usage including outdoor readability, touchscreen usability, and operation in marine environmentsIncorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve usability and appealAesthetic and Futuristic Appeal:Bring a sense of modern luxury and forward-thinking design to all interfaces and visualsEnsure the UI communicates innovation and exclusivity that matches high-end product standardsRequirementsUI/UX Design Skills:Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive designAbility to create intuitive and elegant UI layouts across platforms (mobile, desktop, embedded touchscreen)Experience designing for touchscreen environments and large-format control displaysKnowledge of design systems, atomic design, and scalable UI componentsDeep attention to interaction design, animations, and microinteractions that enhance luxury feelGood understanding of accessibility, readability, and usability in high-contrast or outdoor environmentsGraphic and Visual Design Skills:Strong sense of visual aesthetics, layout, spacing, and color theoryExperience in creating custom icons, logos, and high-quality graphical assets optimized for digital interfacesAbility to create a consistent and luxurious visual identity and branding systemFamiliarity with designing visuals for high-resolution retina and 4K displaysDesign Tools:Figma - for interface design, prototyping, collaboration, and design system managementAdobe XD - for UI/UX workflows and prototyping (optional, depending on preference)Adobe Illustrator - for vector graphics, icon design, and logo creationAdobe Photoshop - for image editing, texture work, and visual polish(Optional) After Effects / Principle / Lottie - for UI motion and animation prototyping(Optional) Zeplin / Figma Dev Mode - for developer handoff and asset managementCollaboration & Communication:Ability to work closely with software and embedded developers to ensure accurate implementationStrong communication skills to explain design rationale and receive feedback from technical and non-technical stakeholdersWillingness to iterate based on usability testing and real-world usage feedbackBenefitsCompetitive salary packageAnnual leave in accordance with UAE Labour LawBasic medical insuranceProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesMultinational and dynamic working environmentModern, expanding shipyard facilitiesSupportive leadership and collaborative team culture#J-18808-Ljbffr
