UI Lead

Job Description Role Overview: At Persistent, we are seeking a creative and skilled UI Lead to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind. As a UI Lead, you will collaborate with back-end developers and web developers to ensure websites are optimized for various devices and presented attractively. Your role will involve architecting, designing, and implementing web UIs for infrastructure platforms, collaborating with backend leads, creating operational UI experiences to drive efficiency, and participating in active software development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, you will meet with customers and business users to identify improvements and oversee the front-end development efforts of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, design, and implement web UIs for infrastructure platforms - Define user interfaces and software architectures, collaborate with backend leads, and establish workflows and APIs - Create operational UI experiences to drive efficiency for operations teams - Develop in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring designs to fruition - Identify improvements to increase conversion rates of eCommerce solutions - Partner with lead commerce developer to define implementation strategy - Design and develop prototype solutions to support business requirements - Refine web page templates across all supported browsers/devices - Oversee front-end development efforts of the team - Be the main UI front-end Dev team contact for other project team members Qualifications Required: - Ability to plan, create, distribute, and oversee team tasks - Skills to estimate, set, track, and meet project delivery dates - Proficient in managing project repository and reviewing code - Capable of building web components to match design specifications - Experience in developing large-scale enterprise GUI applications using JavaScript - Knowledge of integrating with backend services and overseeing full-stack development requirements and solutions - Familiarity with usability and visual design principles - Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (Java, Python, C++, etc) Inclusive Environment: At Persistent, we foster a values-driven and people-centric work environment that enables employees to accelerate growth, impact the world positively, enjoy collaborative innovation, and unlock global opportunities.
