OverviewTruck Driver – Sharjah, UAE (Preferred for Indians/Malayalees, English Speaking)We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license and be familiar with the routes in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate should be able to operate trucks efficiently and safely, comply with all applicable traffic laws, and communicate effectively with other drivers and customers.ResponsibilitiesSafely drive a truck along predetermined routes in accordance with time schedulesOperate trucks in compliance with applicable traffic laws and safety regulationsMonitor vehicle performance and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, etc. to ensure that everything is in good working orderLoad and unload cargo while adhering to security protocolsMaintain accurate logbook records of vehicle inspections, trips and repairsCommunicate with dispatchers about delivery instructions or any delays caused by traffic or breakdownsPrepare documents like bills of lading, manifests, invoices or other paperwork required for delivery purposesEstablish good relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer serviceRequirementsValid driver’s license (preferably Class A)Ability to adhere to timings and schedulesGood knowledge of national road networkPhysical strength and stamina to lift heavy objectsFamiliarity with computers for electronic logging devicesPreferred QualificationsAt least 3 years of prior experience as a truck driverFamiliarity with safety rules and regulationsIndians/Malayalees nationality preferredExcellent command of English language#J-18808-Ljbffr
