Amazon Middle East, Africa & Türkiye (MEATR) Supply Chain Team – Transportation Program ManagerThis role is part of the centralized Supply Chain Planning function and focuses on program management for planning and executing operations with high business impact.Key Job ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end short-term planning, forecasting, flow control, and capacity management of Amazon Transportation chain operationsExecute Business As Usual (BAU) and Peak operationsDefine, design, launch, and manage strategic programs to improve planning and forecastingGather requirements and conceptualize network solutions and supply chain modelsMake optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources, scope, and costApply technical and business knowledge to address risks, challenges, and obstaclesWork with stakeholders across functions to remove blockers and launch new programsManage technical integration with Amazon systems across retail, merchant, fulfillment operations, transportation operations, and finance technologiesSet up end-to-end operational, accounting, financial, and performance measurement processesLaunch and expand programs while maintaining customer satisfaction, performance, and quality metricsTravel to South Africa as per business needsDesired Experience and Qualifications3+ years of program or project management experience3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experienceBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience3+ years of driving process improvements experienceExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesProficiency in Python for data analysis and automationExperience with machine learning, AI applications, and advanced business analyticsInclusive WorkplaceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
