Job Description As a Trade Compliance Specialist in Canadian Operations at Toro Technology Center India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with trade regulations and customs operations. Here is a breakdown of what you will be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: - Manage brokers effectively to streamline trade processes - Classify products according to HS codes - Stay updated on changes in Canadian tariff and duty rates - Maintain electronic records of customs documentation and data - Analyze trade data from various sources to perform compliance audits and corrective actions - Conduct analysis for CUSMA and other free trade qualifications - Support projects related to CBSA requests and audits for timely and accurate responses Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or supply chain operations - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field; professional certification in supply chain preferred - Specialized certification in trade compliance such as customs compliance or international trade regulations - Proficiency in Spanish language preferred due to interactions with Mexico - Strong knowledge of Canadian and Mexican customs regulations with a track record of managing cross-border compliance effectively Additionally, Toro Technology Center India, a subsidiary of The Toro Company, is known for its commitment to employee well-being and development.
