In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our railway tracks through regular inspections, detailed reporting, and collaboration with maintenance teams.Conduct thorough inspections of railway tracks, switches, and associated infrastructure to identify defects, wear, and potential safety hazardsUtilise specialised track inspection equipment and tools to measure and analyse track geometry, rail wear, and other critical parametersPrepare detailed inspection reports, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actionsCollaborate with maintenance teams to prioritise and schedule necessary repairs and upgradesEnsure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards, including local Saudi Arabian railway regulationsParticipate in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programmesAssist in the investigation of track‑related incidents and contribute to root cause analysisStay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in track inspection techniques and technologiesMaintain accurate records of all inspections, maintenance activities, and follow‑up actionsAdapt inspection and maintenance strategies to account for the unique challenges posed by the desert climate in Saudi ArabiaQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in railway track inspection or a related field with international engineering consultants for PMC projectsTrack Safety Certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframeIn‑depth knowledge of railway track components, systems, and inspection techniquesProficiency in using track inspection equipment and toolsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageousProficiency in using computer systems for reporting and data analysisComprehensive understanding of railway safety regulations and standards, including familiarity with local Saudi Arabian railway regulationsExperience working in challenging weather conditions, particularly in desert environmentsPhysical ability to walk long distances along tracks and work in various weather conditionsWillingness to work flexible hours and travel to various locations within the railway networkAdaptability and resilience to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
