Job Description As a Senior Product Manager at Wadhwani Foundation, you will be responsible for owning the development of the Wadhwani Innovation Platform. This platform is crucial in driving commercialization through the following ways: - Establishing a unified system to provide effective support to grant-funded researchers by offering programmatic assistance in critical areas and fulfilling grant reporting requirements. - Building researchers' entrepreneurship capacity through online programming tailored to key commercialization topics, including playbooks, curated content, expert sessions, and sector-specific support. - Connecting researchers to personalized assistance from a network of mentors, experts, investors, and other relevant entities to facilitate their translation journey. The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong technical product development experience and a track record of creating user-centric solutions. They should have expertise in entrepreneurship support, entrepreneurial learning, mentor networks, and familiarity with India's research, innovation, and startup ecosystems. Reporting to the Global Chief Product Officer, you will collaborate closely with the Wadhwani Engineering and Design Teams for the Wadhwani Innovation Platform's development. Additionally, you will oversee a Content Manager responsible for content curation and development in partnership with the Wadhwani Content Team. Availability during evening hours IST is required for communication with the Global Chief Product Officer and CEO based in the U.S. Key Responsibilities: - Identify program and user needs and develop corresponding requirements and success metrics for the Wadhwani Innovation Platform. - Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to build or customize platform features, leveraging AI technologies where suitable. - Act as a representative of the platform to external stakeholders as necessary. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated experience in technical product development and creating high-usage products. - Proficiency in entrepreneurship support, entrepreneurial learning, mentor networks, and familiarity with India's research and startup ecosystems. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
