Closing DateNumber of positions: 1Recruiter name: Nitya PillaiReference number: 66322Mediclinic Ibn Battuta | Dubai | United Arab EmiratesMain Purpose of JobTo provide clinical psychology services in line with professional standards and regulatory requirementsKey Responsibility AreasConduct detailed psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviewsFormulate referral questions and select appropriate psychometric measuresAnalyze data to formulate clinical impressions and diagnosesPrepare structured psychological reports for clinical teams and stakeholdersDevelop action plans based on evaluation outcomesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based psychotherapiesDeliver psychotherapy across modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, brief therapy)Continuously monitor progress and adjust interventions accordinglyEnsure cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care in all interventionsFacilitate group therapy, family sessions, and psychoeducation where appropriateCollaborate with fertility specialists and genetic counselors to ensure consistent and empathetic delivery of difficult information (Applicable to IVF only)Support patients in understanding implications of adverse findings, including risk communicationParticipate in MDT meetings and case discussions to support integrated careProvide consultative input to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsRefer patients to other services when clinically indicatedRecognize own professional limitations and seek guidance when requiredSupport organizational policies and legal frameworks in decision-makingMaintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical records in line with legal and institutional standardsEnsure confidentiality and compliance with regulatory policiesRecord relevant coding and documentation for insurance and billingReport irregularities or record-keeping discrepanciesParticipate in internal audits and quality assurance activitiesDemonstrate commitment to ethical practice and client welfareIdentify and resolve ethical dilemmas in a timely, principled mannerMaintain professional boundaries and respect client autonomyRequired EducationBachelor’s degree in Psychology and postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited university. Certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychometrics, or similar specialized therapeutic approaches. Continuing professional development in advanced clinical methods or neuropsychological assessment.Required ExperienceMinimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and intervention. Experience in delivering psychotherapy across different modalities and patient demographics. Experience in a hospital or multidisciplinary clinical setting is highly desirable.
