<div><p><b>Job Title:</b>Theatre Construction Manager — Opera House Project, Riyadh</p></br><p><b>Employment Type:</b>Full-time | Contract</p></br><p><b>Duration:</b>1-4 years</p></br><p><b>Compensation:</b>Competitive + International relocation</p></br><h3>About the Company</h3></br><p>Our client is a Chinese state-owned general contractor has been awarded a landmark cultural infrastructure project directly by the Saudi government in Riyadh: a large-scale performing arts complex comprising one grand opera house and three satellite theatres. The project is currently in the subcontractor tendering phase, with major packages to be awarded by June 2025.</p></br><h3>About the Role</h3></br><p>The Theatre Construction Manager will serve as the primary technical and coordination authority for all theatre-specific systems within the project. You will bridge the Chinese GC and the American design/supervision consultants, ensuring that deep design, procurement, construction and commissioning meet the operational standards of a world‑class performing arts venue.</p></br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3></br><ul></br><li>Oversee all theatre-specific systems: stage machinery, rigging&automation, theatrical lighting, AV, acoustics</li></br><li>Coordinate between Chinese construction leadership and American design/supervision consultants (English working environment)</li></br><li>Ensure handover from civil structure through fit‑out to full system commissioning meets project specifications</li></br><li>Participate in subcontractor selection and technical evaluation (June milestone)</li></br></ul></br><h3>Requirements</h3></br><p>✅ Complete project experience on at least one professional theatre, opera house, or performing arts centre (Or: significant involvement in the theatre component of a larger mixed‑use cultural project)</p></br><p>✅ Technical proficiency in at least two of: stage machinery, rigging/automation, theatrical acoustics, AV systems, stage lighting systems</p></br><p>✅ Business‑level English — daily working language with American consultant teams</p></br><p>✅ Relevant qualification in: stage engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, acoustic engineering, or architecture</p></br><p><b>Open to all nationalities.</b>Chinese nationals, Saudi‑based professionals, and international candidates equally welcome.</p></br><p>This position is managed by Beta King Partners / Work With China.
