Job Description As a TGT Mathematics/Science Teacher at SRMPS, your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons in Mathematics and/or Science according to the school's curriculum, such as CBSE/ICSE/State/IB. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons following curriculum guidelines. - Preparing lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments. - Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and collaborative learning. - Evaluating and monitoring student progress through various methods. - Providing remedial support and extra help to students when needed. - Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. - Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and staff training sessions. - Collaborating with other teachers and school staff for interdisciplinary projects. - Upholding classroom discipline and promoting ethical behavior. - Integrating technology and digital tools into teaching as appropriate. To qualify for this position, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Science/Mathematics with B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) as a mandatory requirement. - Preferably a minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience at the middle/secondary level. - Strong knowledge of the subject and curriculum standards. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. - Proficiency in using digital platforms and smart boards for teaching. - Passion for teaching and student development. This is a full-time position at SRMPS with working hours from Monday to Saturday. You will be reporting to the Academic Coordinator/Principal.
