Certified as a Top Employer; KONEis dedicated to a better world of work and exhibits this through excellentpeople practices.We are committedto fostering a great work culture and inspiring the highest standards of quality and efficiency from the teamputting our people firstand creating a workplace that nurtures collaboration diversity growth andwellbeing.KONE has an excellent opportunity for Field Support Technicians (testers) to join our team in Dubai.ResponsibilitiesCaring about safety on site by applying good safety practices.Manage onsite communication with the customer for daytoday testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor.Test the unit in accordance to the codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe; the internal and external KONE quality standards are fulfilled and the unit functions according to contractual requirements.Commission the equipment according to agreed specifications and commissioning instructions.Carrying out the final inspection and signing the final inspection documents.Perform or participate in the notified bodies or consultant inspections. Also participate in the customer handover if necessary.Identify installation quality issues and deviations that require corrective action and report them to his Field Supervisor who is responsible for all site activities.Actively participate in quality working groups to improve based on snag lists produced other technical issues found during inspections and information sharing.Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions at work and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.Are You the OneDiploma in Electrical or Electronics EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry (mandatory)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentProficient in verbal and written English communicationBasic IT skills preferredCandidates with a strong digital foundation are highly desirable for this position.At KONE we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
