Job Description As a Sales Representative at Medtronics, you will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory by promoting Spinal implants & Neurosurgical High Speed Drill system to doctors/specialists. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Attending OT/OR procedures to support product adoption and develop clinical understanding.
- Engaging regularly with Neurosurgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons to drive product awareness and build strong relationships.
- Promoting and selling Medtronics products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
- Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronics products and/or services.
- Establishing education of the company's products and/or services.
- Conducting market research including customers and competitors activities.
- Implementing market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
- Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 4-8 years of medical device sales experience and concept selling background.
- Bachelor's in Science/B Pharma/BE/BTech in Biomedical Engineering/Bio-instrumentation, Electronics.
- PG degree in Business Management (preferred).
- Good verbal communicator and presenter with a good command over English and Regional language.
- Some experience of handling KOLs desirable. Experience in Managing/mentoring team members (preferred).
- Experience of Distribution Management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Nice to have: Professional presentation and 'Presence'.
- Professional standard of written and verbal communication to sales team and customers.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with all levels of the customer base.
- Strategic mindset in planning and driving marketing strategies and managing customers.
Additionally, skills required for this role include Customer Engagement, Territory Planning, Negotiation Skills, Market Analysis, Product Knowledge, Data Analysis, Regulatory Compliance, and CRM software.
Experience required for this position is 4.00-8.00 years.
