Job Description As a Senior Java Developer at Broadridge, you will be responsible for the following: - Designing, developing, modifying, adapting, and implementing short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure. - Reviewing system requirements and business processes; coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing software solutions. - Providing application software development services typically in a defined project. - Developing program logic for new applications or analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications. - Ensuring that system improvements are successfully implemented. - Testing new software code and typically working in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment. Qualifications Required: - 7 to 10 years of experience with strong proficiency in Java (Core and Advanced). - Hands-on experience with JSP, Spring Framework (Spring MVC / Spring Boot), and JPA/Hibernate. - Strong knowledge of DB2 with proven experience writing queries and stored procedures. - Experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP and REST APIs). - Solid understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Experience with version control systems (Git). - Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular and jQuery. - Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven/Gradle). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will be characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education. You may provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience, using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
