Techno-Functional Project Manager – Cards Issuing

OverviewRole Overview: We are seeking a Techno-Functional Project Manager with strong expertise in Cards Issuing systems to lead end-to-end delivery of cards-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of business and technical knowledge, project management skills, and hands-on experience with cards issuing platforms, payment systems, and integrations.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage end-to-end projects related to cards issuing systems (credit, debit, prepaid, virtual).Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for cards issuing and related processes.Manage vendor coordination, system implementation, customization, and upgrades for cards platforms.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (PCI DSS, local central bank guidelines, etc.).Oversee integration with core banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party service providers.Track project milestones, budgets, and timelines, ensuring timely delivery.Conduct system testing (SIT, UAT) and support go-live activities.Provide post-implementation support and ensure business continuity.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience (8+ years) in Project Management within the banking/financial services industry.Strong knowledge of cards issuing systems (credit/debit/prepaid cards, embossing, tokenization, EMV, etc.).Hands-on experience with card management systems (CMS) and their integration with core banking platforms.Solid understanding of card lifecycle management (application, issuance, activation, PIN management, replacement, renewal, blocking, etc.).Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) and compliance requirements.Strong techno-functional expertise – ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and workflows while engaging with business teams.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.PMP/Prince2 or Agile certification is a plus.Preferred ExperienceExperience with Oracle FLEXCUBE, T24, VisionPLUS, or other cards issuing systems.Prior involvement in digital banking / mobile wallet / tokenization projects.Knowledge of UAE / GCC banking regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeContractJob functionProject Management and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
