Job Title: Technician - RM 5 Mechanical Shift - Rebar Mill MaintenanceDepartment: Rolling MaintenanceShift: YesGeneral Summary:Responsible for mechanical maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment to minimize downtime, optimize production and ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.Support superiors in heavy section mill maintenance activities and coordinate with other departments.Lead and guide a team of Technicians/Fitters during maintenance work.Ensure adherence to safety, quality and environmental policies.Requirements:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.7‑8 years experience in steel plant mechanical maintenance with at least 5 years in Rolling Mill.Strong knowledge of predictive & preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic circuits and engineering drawings.Skilled in use of hand tools, measuring instruments, rigging and slinging.Good communication skills (English required; Arabic preferred).Computer literacy and report writing ability.Competencies:Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle shift duties.Leadership, teamwork and safety commitment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
