Technician

The SRC technician is responsible for the refurbishment, repair & maintenance of Aggreko equipment, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently and effectively.Why AggrekoPosition will be based in Dubai UAECompetitive compensation packageIndustry-leading benefit plans including medical insuranceContinuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat you'll doAssembly of Aggreko products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentationTroubleshooting/Diagnosis/Repair/Assembly/Overhaul/Refurb of Aggreko ProductsAssembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses pipes and fittingsAssembly & Sub-Assembly of fabricated componentsMating and torquing of flange assemblies.Use of air/power tools hand tools torque tools and measuring equipmentWorking to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they ariseWork in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider cross-functional teams where required.Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects and activitiesMaintaining work area in a safe and tidy working conditionWorking strictly in accordance with company policies procedures & processesEnsuring compliance with all relevant environmental health and safety regulations.You'll have the following skills and experienceExperience Working in the power generation field.Knowledge on Mechanical and Electrical repairsExperience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems.Understand and interpret engineering drawings.Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.Excellent communication skillsAble to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time to a high level of quality and accuracy with strong attention to detail.Bring your energy.
