Technical Support Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

Job Summary:Our client, a multinational company based in Dubai is currently looking for an After-Sales Service Technical Engineer – Rotating Equipment (Compressor). The position may be based in either Dubai or Saudi Arabia; therefore, the candidate should be willing to work in either location as required. You will be responsible for after-sales service support for Process Gas Compressors across the Middle East, India, and Africa. The role combines technical support, customer relations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Proactive SupportRegular customer visits and technical meetingsProposal of preventive maintenance and service solutionsAdvisory support for spare parts planningOverhaul scope discussion and technical clarificationTroubleshootingEmergency first-response coordinationRoot cause analysis and discussion with the technical teamTechnical explanation and reporting to customersField Service & CoordinationArrange supervisory services and coordinate site mobilizationSupport dispatched supervisorsWorkshop Technical SupportEvaluate and assess partner workshops in advance to ensure technical capability, facilities, manpower, and quality standardsCollaborate with the technical team on all necessary technical and commercial mattersPlan and coordinate overhaul, maintenance, and repair activitiesReview inspection findings and determine necessary corrective actionsTechnical Communication & DocumentationInterpret engineering drawingsPrepare technical explanations and reports for customersCommunicate technical matters with the engineering teamSales SupportProvide technical support to the sales team for service proposals and quotationsDefine and clarify technical scope of work for commercial offersSupport cost estimation and technical justification for pricingRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industryExperience with rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, analysis, and presentation purposesFluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are an advantageWillingness to travel (≈50%)Strong interest in mechanical systems and engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
