We reaffirm our commitment to create lasting impact while maintaining our promise to make the most of our energy and resources and to reinforce the value of strong partnerships where trust is paramount.</p><h3>Your Mission</h3><p>The UPS Expert acts as the design authority and customer technical referent for critical power and UPS architecture across MEA within the EU C&SP Solution Center.</p><p>You own the Power Architecture Strategy for hyperscale, high‑density, and AI‑driven data centers operating in extreme grid and ambient conditions. This role ensures technical excellence, robustness, scalability, and standardization of Schneider Electric’s UPS and electrical backbone solutions from early customer prescription and tender phases through project execution, in strict alignment with technical governance, resilience targets, safety, and cybersecurity principles.</p><h3>Responsibilities for C&SP MEA One Solution</h3><ul><li>Act as the primary technical authority for customers on UPS and critical power architecture.</li><li>Translate customer uptime, resilience, and AI load growth strategies into optimized, compliant power topologies.</li><li>Engage proactively with customer central teams before RFQs to influence architecture decisions.</li><li>Contribute to tenders with validated single‑line diagrams, load assumptions, redundancy logic, and failure mode analysis.</li><li>Lead standardization of reference UPS architectures across hyperscale and AI deployments.</li><li>Ensure design repeatability, modularity, and future scalability are embedded from Day 1.</li><li>Capture and institutionalize lessons learned to continuously harden design robustness.</li><li>Guarantee alignment between tender commitments and executable electrical design.</li></ul><h3>Hyperscale and AI Power Architecture Ownership</h3><ul><li>Define and validate UPS reference architectures for Hyperscale Campuses and AI/GPU Clusters.</li><li>Select and justify 2N vs N+1 vs Distributed Redundant topologies and Lithium‑ion VRLA battery strategy.</li><li>Ensure scalability, modularity, and future high‑density rack compatibility.</li><li>Demonstrate strong customer‑facing communication and influencing skills to support technical credibility and customer confidence.</li><li>Stay connected with SE Line of Businesses and stay up‑to‑date on the latest technical evolutions to leverage them for customer solutions.</li></ul><h3>Tender Support&Upstream Alignment</h3><ul><li>Lead technical validation of UPS architecture during pre‑tender and tender phases.</li><li>Define redundancy logic and uptime compliance matrices (Tier alignment).</li><li>Validate battery autonomy assumptions and lifecycle impact.</li><li>Ensure compliance between proposal commitments and executable detailed design.</li><li>Defend Schneider’s architecture during technical clarifications and competitive negotiations.</li></ul><h3>Technical Design Authority</h3><ul><li>Lead and approve basic and detailed UPS designs in line with customer requirements and SE standards.</li><li>Read and challenge electrical designs, layouts, and detect over‑engineering or under‑engineering instantly.</li><li>Optimize PUE, WUE, support customer sustainability commitments, and align solutions with Schneider‑Electric decarbonization and EcoStruxure strategy.</li></ul><h3>Stakeholder&Supplier Coordination</h3><ul><li>Train presales, sales, project teams, contractors, and EU staff and provide expertise on AI‑driven load behavior, Middle East grid instability and voltage fluctuation patterns, failure modes in high‑ambient environments, and battery degradation risks.</li></ul><h3>Design Scope&Lifecycle Coverage</h3><ul><li>Act as Schneider’s final electrical critical power voice in hyperscale technical workshops, consultant design reviews, EPC value‑engineering sessions, and support mega RFPs and defend Schneider’s position in technical clarifications.</li><li>Identify design risks early.</li><li>Support FAT/SAT and commissioning for critical projects.</li></ul><h3>Standards, Compliance&Risk Management</h3><ul><li>Ensure designs comply with IEC / IEEE applicable standards, Uptime Institute guidelines, local regulation, and utilities constraints.</li><li>Identify technical risks, design deviations, and change impacts versus contract or approved baseline; support PMs and execution TLs in technical assessments of changes and variation.</li><li>Capture lessons learned and drive standardization and continuous improvement across accounts.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree
