Let’s paint the future together.Key ActivitiesDelivers training to customers on the use and application of the company products, equipment and documentation both on-site at the customer’s location and within the training center.Conduct demonstrations of products and transfers the knowledge on Akzo Nobel process as well as on technical problem solving to the customers;Performs technical scans and audits at designated customers.Actively participates together and as peer to allocated sales representative, in key phases of the sales process to prospectsProactively prevents and solves problems of a technical nature occurring at existing customers.Conducts and/or assists in the testing process as well as in the implementation of new products and technologies.Synchronizes own activities with all department using CRM, up-dates the key customers’ databases with valid, accurate and complete information (visit, products, equipment etc.)Cooperates with the technical department in handling complex technical issues and claims and in educating customers on solutions.Supports product development with prototype selection advice and test market execution.Maintains allocated technical company equipment in a safe and proper manner.Delivers periodical progress reports, proactively submits information regarding trends within the market and provides recommendations regarding improvements in the approach to the marketplace.Assists sales department in the implementation of sales strategies and within key phases of the sales process, giving technical expert knowledge to their prospects.Promotes the positive company image and develops long-term relations with customers.Advises to the upper management on training types recruits partecipants for the relevant technical courses and gains commitment for customer attendance.Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedure with regard to personal conduct/HSE standard and acts in compliance with all their regulations.ExperienceTechnical diploma (or degree)In-depth knowledge of the market and the products3-5 years of relevant experience in paint General Industry (preferred) or other manufacturing businessTechnical knowledge of coatings in Wood (preferred) or in other manufacturing IndustryFluent in English and Hindi (oral and written), and preferably Arabic knowledge tooGood Knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, SAP) systemsCustomer focusedStrong results orientationGood communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlinesGood team playerAnalytical approach to problem solvingAbility to understand technical conceptsWilling to travel, overnight stays 4 days a weekActive driving license for UAEBasic knowledge relating to health and safety matters under the current local legislationAt AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
