Technical Project Manager - IT

UASG owns and operates a diverse yet complementary portfolio of six UAE-based companies spanning several key industry sectors, including Abu Dhabi Motors, Dama Motors, AlSaqer Heavy Equipment, AlSaqer Property Management, Royal International Construction, and Royal Joinery.ResponsibilitiesIT Project Planning & Delivery:Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans in alignment with business requirements.Develop project schedules, project charters, and implementation plans.Technical Coordination & Implementation:Coordinate with IT teams (infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, network) to ensure technical requirements are met.Support solution design review, system integration, and deployment planning.Ensure technical deliverables meet corporate IT architecture and standards.Vendor & Contract Management:Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to deliver project milestones.Support evaluation of vendor proposals, technical scope review, and contract deliverables.Monitor vendor performance, SLA compliance, and delivery timelines.Risk, Issue & Change Management:Identify project risks and dependencies, implement mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues.Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and project documentation.Ensure project governance processes are followed.Quality Assurance & Testing:Coordinate UAT planning, test execution, and defect closure with business users and IT teams.Ensure system quality, stability, and performance requirements are achieved prior to go-live.Ensure proper documentation of technical and functional testing results.Documentation, Handover & Support Transition:Ensure project documentation is complete (technical documentation, user manuals, SOPs, training materials).Coordinate training sessions and ensure business readiness.Ensure smooth handover to IT operations/support teams after implementation.Qualifications & Certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience delivering corporate IT projects (ERP, CRM, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or systems integration).PMP / PRINCE2 certification mandatory.Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in IT project delivery, with minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the relevant field is required.Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills:IT Project Management (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementSystems Integration & Implementation PlanningRisk & Change ManagementIT Governance & DocumentationStrong reporting and presentation skillsBehavioral Competencies:Customer Focus - Understands customer challenges and takes initiative to resolve them effectively.Accountability and Ownership - Manages projects with minimal supervision and ensures quality results.Agility and Adaptability - Manages change smoothly and supports others during transitions.Collaboration & Influence - Builds networks across functions and resolves conflicts constructively.Result Orientation - Sets clear goals and works proactively to achieve high performance.Location: Abu Dhabi#J-18808-Ljbffr
