Technical Project Manager – Banking IT Operations (m/f/d)

The organization is seeking a<b>Technical Project Manager – Banking IT Operations</b>to lead complex IT infrastructure, security, and operations initiatives within a highly regulated banking environment. The role will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical projects.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure and operations projects within the banking environment.</li><li>Develop detailed project plans, technical work breakdown structures, and dependency maps.</li><li>Oversee scope, schedules, risks, budgets, and resources across multiple concurrent workstreams.</li><li>Manage upgrades, migrations, and deployments with minimal business disruption following structured change management.</li><li>Ensure projects comply with architectural, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Implement standardized project delivery frameworks to improve operational consistency.</li></ul><h3>Technical Delivery Management</h3><ul><li>Oversee workstreams involving collaboration platform upgrades, security control implementation, observability solutions, and cloud operations.</li><li>Manage initiatives across servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery/continuity environments.</li></ul><h3>Vendor&Stakeholder Management</h3><ul><li>Manage vendors and external service partners ensuring contractual and SLA compliance.</li><li>Provide clear project reporting, risk updates, and audit responses to leadership and governance forums.</li><li>Coordinate across infrastructure, cloud, networking, application, and security teams.</li></ul><h3>Risk, Compliance&Governance</h3><ul><li>Enforce adherence to IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and internal/external regulatory standards.</li><li>Maintain project documentation, approvals, compliance evidence, and audit-ready artifacts.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Skills</h3><h3>Professional Experience</h3><ul><li>5–10+ years of IT project management experience, ideally within banking or financial services.</li><li>Strong background in infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity delivery.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex technical initiatives simultaneously.</li></ul><h3>Technical Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of enterprise collaboration systems, identity platforms, and directory services.</li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and observability technologies.</li><li>Familiarity with IT security controls, compliance standards, and virtualization platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of ITSM processes aligned with ITIL.</li></ul><h3>Project Management Competencies</h3><ul><li>Expertise in project planning, RAID logs, governance reporting, and stakeholder engagement.</li><li>Proficiency in project delivery tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence).</li><li>Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies are preferred.</li></ul><h3>Soft Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong leadership and communication abilities.</li><li>Capable of translating complex technical information for executive stakeholders.</li><li>High ownership, analytical capability, and comfort working under pressure.</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.</li><li>Master’s degree is a plus.</li></ul><p>Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
