Technical Program Manager, AMET 3PL and Direct ImportsJob ID: 10383741 | Amazon Middle East and North Africa FZ-LLCAs a PM on the Supply Chain Automation team, you'll design and build full-stack applications and data-intensive systems that power critical supply chain decisions. You'll work with massive datasets, develop and implement science-based artifacts that impact broader supply chain, and create intuitive interfaces that enable our operations teams to work smarter and faster.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy full-stack applications for supply chain optimization and automationBuild scalable backend services using modern technologies (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.) on AWS infrastructureDevelop responsive, performant frontend applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, and modern web technologiesArchitect and implement data pipelines leveraging our lakehouse architecture with Apache IcebergWork with large-scale data systems including Amazon Redshift, S3, and EMRPerform data mining and analysis to uncover insights that drive supply chain improvementsDevelop and support scientific solutions that are exemplary in terms of design, clarity, extensibility, and the ability to evolve over timeInnovate with the latest technology to build highly automated solutions for efficient forecasting and supply chain automationDesign, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions in the Amazon production environment to improvise the current supply chain through forecastingOwn the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and operationsParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to technical strategyAbout the teamJoin Amazon's Supply Chain Automation team, chartered with building the next generation of automation and optimization systems from the ground up. Our mission is to transform supply chain operations through intelligent automation, reducing manual effort while increasing speed, accuracy, and efficiency across Amazon's fulfillment network.Basic Qualifications3+ years of technical product or program management experience2+ years of software development experience3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalentExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, RustExperience designing rich user interfaces using modern web frameworks (such as React, Angular, and Vue)Knowledge of object‑oriented design, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with modeling tools such as R, scikit‑learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy, etc.Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)Experience effectively gathering information from multiple data sourcesExperience architecting/operating solutions built on AWSPreferred Qualifications3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
