OverviewTechnical Product Manager - API Enablement & Aggregators/ Payment Services — Dubai, Full-time, Master (>10 yrs). Our API Enablement Division within the Payment Services organization manages the entire lifecycle of an API as a product, with developers as the primary customer base. This role focuses on managing new and existing API services, harmonization, standardization, and delivering a strong developer experience.ResponsibilitiesDefine API strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals, identifying opportunities for harmonization, ecosystem development, and usage growth.Manage the full API lifecycle from ideation and design to development, launch and maintenance, ensuring consistency, performance and security.Ensure a consistent developer experience through comprehensive documentation, sandbox environments, and harmonized usage across API offerings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate high-level business objectives into actionable technical requirements and implementation details; coordinate with internal teams for development, deployment and maintenance of API offerings.Monitor and analyze key metrics (uptime, latency, error rates, adoption data) to inform decisions and demonstrate business value.Ensure alignment with internal security policies and governance to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.QualificationsStrong understanding of API fundamentals (REST, JSON), tools like Postman, and technical specs (OpenAPI).7+ years of experience in API product management or technology product development.Experience with diverse product types; proactive, self-starting, collaborative, and adaptable with excellent presentation and communication skills.Deep understanding of developers and users, their pain points, and delivering a strong developer experience.Experience in or exposure to payments, financial services, or technology sectors.Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, analytical rigor, and attention to detail.What We OfferCompetitive package and the opportunity to perform at your best in a diverse, inclusive environment.
