This position requires a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual with strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, particularly in roads and infrastructure construction. The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation, technical submittals, quantity surveying, and providing technical support to the project team.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and ITPsCoordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvalsTrack, follow up, and close submittals within project timelinesMaintain submittal logs and approval recordsProvide technical support to site teamsResolve technical queries and construction‑related issuesInterpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentsPrepare technical reports and presentationsMonitor site works for compliance with approved documentsAssist with RFI and NCR preparation, review, and closureAttend project and technical meetingsProvide technical input and recommendationsCoordinate with internal teams, consultants, and clientsEstablish and maintain document control systemsManage drawings, specifications, method statements, submittals, and correspondenceEnsure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholdersMaintain registers for drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondenceArchive project documents in accordance with company and regulatory requirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 5 years’ experience in roads and infrastructure projects in the UAERAK project experience is an advantageStrong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practicesGood understanding of UAE construction standards and regulationsExperience with FIDIC contracts is a plusUAE driving license preferred but not essentialSkillsTechnical submittals and approvalsTechnical report writingAutoCAD and Civil 3DProject coordination and communicationQuality control and safetyDocument control and managementQuantity surveying and measurementKnowledge of UAE construction standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
