Machinist - Manual (Saudi Arabia)

This role involves operating manual and semi-automated machine tools to meet strict dimensional, quality, and safety standards. The machinist works closely with maintenance and engineering teams to support plant reliability and continuous operations.Responsibilities:Operate manual machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill pressesSet up machines, select appropriate tools, and determine machining methodsRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specificationsMachine, modify, and repair components such as shafts, flanges, valves, pumps, and fittingsMeasure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and tolerance compliancePerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machining equipmentFollow HSE, safety, and quality procedures applicable to petrochemical and oil & gas environmentsMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasCoordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to meet operational schedulesDiploma in Industrial Technology (Machining) or equivalentMinimum 7 years of experience as a MachinistExperience operating manual, semi-automated, and CNC machinesStrong knowledge of machine tools, metal properties, and machining processesAbility to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and manualsProficient in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Good mathematical and analytical skillsGood command of English (reading, writing, and speaking)Physically fit with the stamina required for machining task#J-18808-Ljbffr
