Technical Manager-Steel & Structural Focus

We are seeking a highly specialized and technically proficient Technical Manager to lead and govern the structural design and compliance aspects of our projects focusing heavily on steel structures. This role requires an expert capable of rigorous design review authority interface management and optimization of steel and concrete elements.Mandatory Requirements (Strictly Enforced)Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Steel Building Design (e.g. Warehouses Distribution Centers Logistics Hubs Industrial/Related Buildings).Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering AND Post-Graduation in Structural OR Architect with equivalent leadership experience.1015 years total experience with a UAE Main Contractor in technical management/design coordination.Expert knowledge of UAE authority processes and codes (DM Trakhees DDA DACC etc.).Key Technical ResponsibilitiesSteel Design & Review: Rigorously review and evaluate proposals designs and shop drawings from steel subcontractors ensuring compliance and optimizing structural steel and concrete designs.Design Development & Optimization: Develop and amend structural designs using licensed software (StaadPro ETABS SAFE IdeaStatica Prokon) for both steel and concrete structures. Optimize designs to achieve efficiency.Authority Approvals: Lead all technical submissions and follow-up with relevant Authorities (DM Trakhees DDA etc.) including resolving Compliance Resolution Sheets (CRS) comments.Documentation & Quantity Surveying: Prepare accurate BOQ for structural steel and concrete; estimate steel tonnage; prepare detailed design reports and calculations for submissions.Subcontractor Management: Conduct technical evaluation of proposals for steel fire coating and cladding subcontractors.Project Support: Issue Issued for Construction Drawings and provide high-level technical advice to project teams including reviewing bar bending schedules and construction material selection.If you are a seasoned Technical Manager with a core specialization in steel building design and structural compliance in the UAE apply now.#J-18808-Ljbffr
