The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Overall System Integration responsibilities across multiple turnkey projects include:Manage the identification, allocation, traceability and fulfilment of overall system requirements for the entire life cycle of the project (design and testing).Ensure the management of project interfaces among subsystems and external interfaces according to the project scope of work.Guarantee proper and effective delivery of system architecture on‑board functionalities and vehicle integration.Prepare and execute factory and site tests to verify and validate system architecture main functions, vehicle integration interfaces and operating scenarios.Conduct verification activities of system integration documents according to the V&V plan.Apply standardized and optimised solutions to increase project efficiency and fulfil contract requirements.Continuously update the design standards for system integration in accordance with technology and process improvements.Share technological lessons learned across projects in system integration and core subsystem analysis.Support the implementation of effective technical solutions (e.g., interfaces with the customer).Ensure system integration tests are performed across projects, optimising methodologies and sharing results.HSE ResponsibilitiesTake care of your own safety and the safety of others as far as practicable.Be aware of and play an active role in achieving Hitachi Rail HSE policy & objectives.Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.Use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.Lead by example and actively encourage departments to conserve water & energy, minimize waste generation and encourage recycling.Stop work if you believe activities may affect health and safety; report such conditions immediately to your line manager and the HSE department.We welcome and value differences in background, age, gender, sexuality, family status, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion and worldview.
