And thats where you come in.Hitachi Railis looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Technical Director. The successful candidate will have solid experience in the rail industry managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based inAbu Dhabi UAE.With reference to Overall System Integration in and across multipleturnkey projects Ensure the management (i.e. identification allocation traceability) andthe fulfilment of Overall System Requirements for the entire life cycle ofthe project (Design and Testing) Guarantee the identification and the management of the projectinterfaces among the subsystems and of external interfaces accordingto the project scope of work Guarantee the proper and effective delivery of System Architecture OnBoard Functionalities and Vehicle Integration Guarantee an effective and efficient preparation and execution offactory and Site Tests to verify and validate System Architecture mainSystem Functions and Vehicle Integration Interfaces and OperatingScenarios Ensure the Verification activities of System integration documentsaccording to the V&V Plan Ensure the application across assigned turnkey projects ofstandardized and optimized solutions to increase project efficiency andfulfil contract requirements Ensure the continuous updating of the design standards about SystemIntegration in accordance to the technology and process improvements Ensure the sharing of the technological lesson learnt across projects inSystem Integration and in the core Subsystems analysis Support the implementation of the adequate and effective technicalsolution (e.g. interfaces with customer) Ensure that System Integration tests are performed across projectsoptimizing methodologies and sharing resultsHSE ResponsibilitiesTake care of your own safety and the safety of others as far as practicable.To be aware of and play an active role in the achievement of Hitachi Rail HSE policy & objectives.Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy minimize the generation of waste and encourage recycling.Every one within Hitachi Rail has the right to stop work if they believe that their activities may affect their health and safety or that of this circumstance such conditions must be reported immediately to their line manager and the HSE department.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
